Dr. Pascal Gervaz is a Swiss surgeon who studied medicine and then trained in general surgery at the CHUV between 1989 and 1998, before completing his training in digestive surgery in the USA, at the Cleveland Clinic, then at the Mayo Clinic. (1999-2001).
Upon his return from the USA, Dr. Gervaz worked for 10 years as head of colorectal surgery at the University Hospitals of Geneva. He has obtained the title of Privat Docent from the Faculty of Medicine since 2004, has published 134 original articles, and has been invited to give more than 180 conferences on 4 continents.
Dr. Gervaz has performed more than 2,000 major abdominal procedures during his 30-year career. He specializes in obesity surgery, hernia treatment, colorectal surgery and in the field of proctology. He is recognized by his peers as a world-renowned surgeon
