What is VASER Liposuction
VASER Liposuction is a revolution. It allows more “aggressive” action by the surgeon during surgery with better recovery than classic liposuction, less edema, less bruising, and less pain. The results are spectacular and allow HD (High Definition) liposuction to be performed by reshaping the muscles of your stomach. Anesthesia
Medications are administered for your comfort during the surgical procedure. The choices include intravenous sedation and general anesthesia. Your doctor will recommend the best choice for you.
The incision
Liposuction is performed through small, inconspicuous incisions. First, diluted local anesthesia is infused to reduce bleeding and trauma. Then a thin hollow tube, or cannula, is inserted through the incisions to loosen excess fat using a controlled back-and-forth motion.
See the results
Your improved body contour will be apparent once the swelling and fluid retention commonly experienced following liposuction subside. With continued practices of healthy diet and fitness, the loss of excess fatty tissue should be permanently maintained. However, substantial weight gain can alter the results.

The Intervention
Before performing liposuction, the areas to be suctioned are infiltrated with a vasoconstrictor and anesthetic solution to limit bleeding and bruising. The surgeon introduces very fine cannulas through very short incisions (less than 4 millimeters) and proceeds to suction the deep fatty layer, taking care to avoid any irregularity, in order to harmonize the arms in a natural and aesthetic way. The use of fine cannulas prevents the formation of folds or waves after the procedure and promotes homogeneous and harmonious skin retraction. All these technical aspects allow for a quick return home, a short recovery time and excellent results.
Duration, hospitalization, after liposuction by Vaser
This treatment does not require hospitalization.
The surgical intervention sometimes requires a somewhat long operating time, between 3 and 5 hours of surgery to be as precise and efficient as possible depending on the number and location of the areas to be operated on.
In most cases, the results are permanent. However, it is important to keep in mind that your lifestyle choices can impact the long-term results of the operation.
